Lil Tay, the 9-year-old internet star known for her controversial videos, such as mimicking foul language and sometimes portraying drug use, gained national attention for her extraordinary lifestyle portrayal that went viral on social media. A confirmed message shared on her verified Instagram account on Wednesday conveyed the unfortunate news of Lil Tay’s passing at the age of 14.
The teen rapper, whose actual name is Claire Hope, first gained prominence on social media at the age of 9 when she made racy songs that showed off her amazing lifestyle.
“With deep hearts, we share the heartbreaking news of our beloved Claire’s tragic and untimely passing,” the statement said. We are at a loss for words to express the unimaginable loss and indescribable pain.” “This outcome was entirely unexpected and has left us all in shock.”
Lil Tay’s brother Jason Tyga’s death was also verified in the statement, which also noted that an investigation into his death was continuing. Their exact fatalities, including the time and place of their passing, are still unknown.
However, Lil Tay is originally from Canada and moved to Los Angeles in 2018 in pursuit of opportunities in the entertainment industry.
